We present a system which performs real time head motion tracking and speech controlled mouse pointer. Disabled people have problem using traditional interface devices. This system presents hands free interaction between computer and user. In this system the motion of the user’s head is tracked using web camera and converted into 2D coordinates on a computer screen accordingly. Further, the system also enables recognition of speech as a command input from a user so that it performs mouse operations. This system is introduced with the intention to replace the traditional pointing devices for the use of disabled people and also as a real time, fast and inexpensive alternative to communicate with system.
