Election is a system which run any democratic country. In many countries the voting process is exercised using EVM (Electronic Voting Machine). Election Handheld Terminal is a prototype of a system which deals with problems like Bogus Voting, less voting percentage. Our project aims to fulfill this requirement by adding Biometric Scanner along with Zig-Bee to the EVM. The integration of finger print scanner with EVM requires less manpower, saves time of voters, ensures accuracy and transparency. By this way a single person can vote only once. In this paper, Zig-Bee technology is used for wireless data communication. The results will be updated in real-time basis in Master device which is operated by Election Commissioner.
